Integrated Initiatives for Economic Growth In Mali

Overview

IICEM promotes economic growth, helping to reduce poverty and increase food security while strengthening local capacity to adapt to the affects of climate change. It increases technical and organizational skills of value chain actors. IICEM currently works with the following products, incorporating elements of gender equitable opportunity, biodiversity protection and natural resource management: rice, millet/sorghum, maize, potato, mango, tomato, shallots, horticultural products, tiger nuts, soy beans, and fish.

Funded by USAID as part of its Accelerated Economic Growth program, the IICEM project is implemented by Abt Associates in partnership with ACDI / VOCA, Sheladia Associates, Inc. and Carana.
